Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been known as a well-known American writer of cook books for a number of decades. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina Garten started her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget papers. Although she initially found it interesting, she soon lost interest. So she purchased a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. After selling the store, she spent 18 years building it into an extremely successful business. Other cookbooks followed, as were magazine articles. Another success came from the Food Network Television show. In addition, she sells a variety of products ranging from cooking supplies as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina she is a self-taught cook she has never attended the culinary institute or at the hotel. Her name is ascribed to her easy approach to cooking and effortless approach to entertainment. The most well-known recipes she has created are the lemon chicken that she grills in a skillet and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
